I want to get ‘dirty’ with SRK :Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan: I want to get ‘dirty’ with SRK

You’ve transformed from the quiet, hapless gal in NOKJ to a ‘boombastic’ babe… I’d never got the opportunity to unleash the sexual side of my personality and this role just gave me a chance. I was completely uninhibited.

Uninhibited and how! Ha, ha… yeah, I’ve had a blast shooting for it. It was very liberating and a huge challenge as an actor. I’m glad I got over the awkwardness and just went for it.

Were you wary of looking vulgar on camera? Fortunately, I’ve never been very conscious and inhibited of what I have to do. The camera’s my soul mate. So it wasn’t that tough.

You’ve put all the size-zero actresses and item girls to shame… Well, I like that. Ha, ha, ha. I think a woman should be wholesome, voluptuous and sizzling!

Emraan must have been quite disappointed as he didn’t get to show his ‘dirty’ side this time… Yeah, he’s such a jealous man. Just because he didn’t get to be dirty in the film… I hate him. Ha, ha!

And the other man, Tusshar says he was nervous as hell kissing you onscreen… I think he lied. There was no nervousness. I think men can fake nervousness. He must have faked it!

How would you react if you heard someone say – ‘You want sex, I am sex’… I meant that’s how my character is, in the film. She’s unapologetic about using her body and her sexuality as a big ticket to fame. There’s no shame in doing it.

Do you think Indian women are getting more comfortable with their sexuality? Oh, definitely! And cinemais a reflection of society. So you’re seeing it onscreen because it’s happening in real life.

One Bollywood actor that makes you go Ooh La La? Ummmm…. Salman Khan!

And one Bollywood actor you want to get ‘dirty’ with? A certain SRK.

What are the three easy tips to seducing a guy? Just look at him. Don’t talk. And you won’t even need the other two tips.

Salman Khan promotes Mumbai Heroes, for CCL

Salman Khan promotes Mumbai Heroes

Bollywood star Salman Khan swore that his Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) team Mumbai Heroes will come back with a bang in the second season by working on their fielding attack.

Last time, we did not make it. After we lost every match, we used to have a meeting to discuss how we would destroy those guys in the next game. But we still lost miserably. But this year, we will try to perform well, said Salman, addressing a press conference in Dubai to announce the Celebrity Cricket League’s plans to head to the UAE.

The Dabangg star revealed the line-up of Mumbai Heroes along with its brand ambassadors Kangna Ranaut, Sonakshi Sinha and Genelia at the event in Dubai. The season of CCL is scheduled to be held at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium for the first time on January 13 and 14 next year.

Chelsea 30.11.11
Drogba looks set to leave Chelsea

Didier Drogba has refused Chelsea’s offer of a one-year contract extension and is looking for a big-money move to finish his career after also turning down a loan move to Milan, his agent said on Tuesday. The 33-year-old’s contract expires next summer and the Ivory Coast striker was weighing up lucrative options including possible moves to America, Russia or Asia. Drogba has scored nearly 150 goals for Chelsea since moving from Marseille in 2004 and has helped the club to win three Premier League titles and three FA Cups.

Liverpool 9.11.11
Marc Pelosi joins Liverpool

Liverpool have signed midfielder Marc Pelosi, captain of the United States team at this year’s under-17 World Cup in Mexico. Pelosi will join Liverpool’s academy team following his move from De Anza Force Club in California. The 17-year-old has made 28 appearances for the national team at the youth level, scoring eight goals.

Everton 18.10.11
Everton confirm McFadden signing

James McFadden has re-signed for Everton on a short-term deal until the end of the season. The Scotland forward had been without a club since Birmingham opted not to renew his contract in the summer following their relegation from the Premier League. He has not played a competitive fixture since injuring knee ligaments in September last year. McFadden scored 11 goals in 109 appearances in his first spell at Everton between 2003-08.

Swansea 15.10.11
Swansea sign defender Moras

Swansea City have completed the signing of Greece international Vangelis Moras on a free transfer. The 30-year-old has signed a three-month contract at the Liberty Stadium and he goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s Premier League game at Norwich City. Moras, who has 15 caps for Greece, has been on trial with the Swans and impressed manager Brendan Rodgers in a match against Newcastle Reserves while he scored in a friendly win over Llanelli. The former Bologna player will now bolster options in the heart of defence, with captain Garry Monk and Ashley Williams the only centre-backs available as Alan Tate and Steven Caulker are injured.

Sunderl. 11.9.11
Asamoah Gyan makes loan move

Asamoah Gyan’s career at Sunderland appears to be over after the Ghana striker agreed to join United Arab Emirates side Al Ain on a season-long loan. The 25-year-old international became Sunderland’s record signing when he arrived at the Stadium of Light for 13 million pounds from French club Rennes just over a year ago, but has failed to settle.

Despite comments on the Sunderland website on Saturday that suggested he would be happy to have Gyan back at the club next year, coach Steve Bruce later said that was unlikely. “I don’t believe he has a future here,” Bruce said after his club’s 2-1 home defeat against Chelsea. “I will let everybody else make their conclusions. To go and leave the Premier League for the United Arab Emirates, I will let you make your own conclusion to that. He’s been unsettled now, if we are being brutally honest, for weeks and months. It’s disappointing, but we draw a line under it. We decided to cut the best deal possible and we move on.”

Liverpool 1.9.11
Bellamy in, Ngog out

Craig Bellamy has rejoined Liverpool having been out of favour at Manchester City after spending last season on loan at hometown team Cardiff in the English second division. Manager Kenny Dalglish swooped for the Wales striker on deadline day to bolster his attacking options, with the 32-year-old now fighting Luis Suarez, Andy Carroll and Dirk Kuyt for a place in the Reds’ forward line. Bellamy last played for Liverpool in the 2006/07 season.

Liverpool have also completed the signing of Uruguay defender Sebastian Coates from Nacional for around €8m. The 20-year-old was a key figure in Uruguay’s winning of the Copa America this summer and collected the award for best young player at the tournament. DO YOU LIKE SURPRISES?

Do you like surprises? That is not a yes or no question for any of us. It depends on the surprise. Some surprises are wonderful. Some surprises are horrible. If a surprise brings a person joy and delight, he or she loves the surprise. If a surprise brings a person sadness and shock, he or she hates the surprise. Surprises use the unexpected. If you expect it, it cannot be a surprise. “Surprise” is an important tactic in modern warfare. When your objective is to destroy an enemy in modern warfare, you value the “element of surprise.” So in modern warfare we use the “surprise attack.” What is the “element of surprise”? What is the “surprise attack”? It is the element of astonishing. It is to attack when the enemy is unaware of danger. We have been blessed to live through years of peace and times of peace. In times of peace we do not need wartime words. So we gave some of those words peaceable meanings. We developed “pleasant surprises.” “Pleasant surprises” have the same objective of astonishing and catching unaware, but the result is wonderful, not destructive. As an example, consider the “surprise birthday party.” That astounding, unexpected event is wonderful–unless it is your fiftieth birthday! The first surprise birthday party I attended after moving to Fort Smith was for Jack Lowry. Boy, did his friends put the word surprise in that party! It was really a surprise! The party occurred at midnight at the close of his birthday. A son called and told him he had car trouble. He sat up and came outside. The party began with a candle light vigil on his lawn. Oh, the joys of Jack’s surprise birthday party! Maybe surprise birthday parties and war do have something in common.
